The Annandale Artisans are a collective of artists and makers working in
various materials including clay; pen and watercolour; vintage buttons and
beads; wood; paper and felt; fabric and yarn.
Some of the many items they create include ceramic tableware, vases and
sculptural vessels; wall art and gift cards; one of a kind jewellery
pieces; wooden bowls and pots; decorations such as felted birds and
flowers; eco-friendly household items such as fabric coasters and bowl
covers and knitted dishcloths.
The group evolved when Barbi Lock Lee, a successful ceramist of 40 years,
brought together some of her friends who also love creating beautiful and
unique objects. They have held several successful front yard markets in
the last few years. They are excited to be exhibiting at the Balmain Watch
House on 12 and 13 April.
