The Art of Sumi – Japanese Sumi Ink Brushworks

Traditional Japanese practice and Australian influences meet in this sumi ink painting exhibition by Japanese and Australian artists in Sydney. “Experience the beauties of nature, and in doing so learn about yourself.”

We will be presenting around 50 sumi ink paintings for viewing and sale, and will also offer handcrafted items inspired by traditional Japanese design — including cards, decorated stones, and other pieces created to delight visitors.
