INTERACTIVE – an exhibition by Craft NSW

Craft NSW and invited guest craft makers interpret Sydney Craft Week’s RESPONSE theme as INTERACTIVE for their exhibition. The craft makers respond to the environment, explore and adapt techniques and play with colour and design. The work includes textile, fine silver, clay, glass and much more. Visitors can respond to these works by attending free daily sessions in textile crafts such as Japanese braiding, wrapping God’s eyes large and small, and hand and arm knitting. A lot of these are surprisingly easy, colourful and addictive. Materials and equipment are all provided.
