ExtraTexture return to the Balmain Watch House with Transformation, a collaborative exhibition of five textile and mixed media artists which explores the power of change in its many forms. They use the inherent transformative nature of textile work, converting fabric and thread into art, the adaptation of materials for new purposes, and the evolution of traditional techniques in their exploration of change as a fundamental force in art and life.

One member who recently celebrated a significant birthday explores the concept of the transformative effect of a life spent creatively with an installation of eighty small artworks.
